Mallika’s real name is 'Reema Lambha';
she changed her name because there are many Reema's in the industry.
Mallika graduated in Philosophy from Miranda House and has worked as a
part time airhostess. She has an estranged relationship with her family,
who are very religious and don't agree with Mallika working in the
movies. She had to pay a heavy price to pursue her dream of becoming a
Bollywood Queen – she had to divorce Jet Airways pilot Captain Karan
Singh Gill. She did several ads and music videos before her film debut,
including the Santro ad with Shah Rukh Khan. She had 17 kissing scenes
in her debut film, ‘Khwahish’. And when she was asked to comment on it
